heyaifriend is a free AI friend you talk to in Telegram. These are the ground rules for using it. Short and fair.

**The short version**

- heyaifriend is free to use. For adults (18+).
- Your friend is an AI. It is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer or emergency service.
- Be decent. Some things are blocked, and breaking the rules can get you banned.
- The service comes as it is, and we will give you notice before changing or stopping it.

## The service

heyaifriend is a free AI friend you chat with in Telegram. It is run by heyaifriend, a small team in the Netherlands. By using it you agree to these terms and to the [privacy policy](https://heyaifriend.com/privacy/).

## Free to use

The service is free to use. There is a daily message limit.

## Who can use it

You must be 18 or older, and an 18+ mode is available after age confirmation. If you are under 18, please do not use the service. Our [safety page](https://heyaifriend.com/safety/) lists the limits that hold in every mode.

## Your friend is an AI

Your friend can be wrong. It is not a therapist, doctor or lawyer, and it is not an emergency service. Please do not rely on it for medical, legal or financial decisions.

## Acceptable use

- Do not try to get content that involves minors, real identifiable people or non-consent. Those are blocked, and trying can get you banned.
- Do not use the service to harm yourself or others, to harass anyone, or to break the law.
- Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, or to get around the message limit.
- Do not use it to make content that you then pass off as coming from a real person.

We may block people who break these rules.

## Your content

What you write is yours. You allow us to process it to run the service, as described in the privacy policy. We never train on it.

## No warranty

The service comes as it is. It may be slow, wrong or offline. We do not promise it will always work, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory law.

## Changes and stopping

We may change the service or these terms, or stop the service. We will tell you in the chat with reasonable notice first. If we stop, you can ask for a copy of your data, and we will delete the rest.

## Dutch law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law lets you go to a court where you live.
